Qualysoft: They feel the future
March 16, 2005
The Hungary-based Qualysoft Group has operations in several Central and
Eastern European countries. While most companies like to say that they are constantly look for the
needs of their customers, this attitude has really had a key importance in the success of
Qualysoft.
Qualysoft has a different story to most of those Hungarian companies that try their luck in the Central European region: the company was founded by two Hungarians, Tamás Simon and Robert Mayer in the late nineties. At first they didn’t start their operations in Hungary, but in Austria, they provided Hungarian IT professionals there. Soon they changed their business to software development and different IT services of more added value.
Since its foundation in 1999 Qualysoft Group is a dynamically growing supplier-neutral IT service provider with many references on the international IT-market. Its comprehensive service range - including custom software development, management, consulting and outsourcing - enables Qualysoft to build end-to-end solutions. Recognising the needs of the clients, Qualysoft also provides nearshore/offshore and outsourcing services.
At the moment the Group has more than 200 highly qualified and experienced specialists working in offices based in Budapest, Vienna, Munich and Belgrade, and it is planning to open other agencies in more Eastern European countries – Romania, Croatia and Ukraine – as well. Qualysoft Group expects its revenue to be more than 9 million euro in 2007. The service provider works in close cooperation with leading IT vendors: Qualysoft is a key partner to several renowned industry players including Microsoft, IBM, OpenText, webMethods and
Oracle.
Following the international tendencies Qualysoft believes that in the next few years the keys to its success on the European markets will be Business Project Management, nearshore activities and development of news and community portals.
Qualysoft has begun to build its competency in Business Process Management about 6 years ago on the international level. The solution is based on the results of a research and development project sponsored by the Austrian state which aim was to provide some kind of an intelligent document generator. The Business Process Management (BPM) solutions effectively integrate the complex business processes of the companies: with the aid of user-friendly graphical components, special applications and standardised frame systems they assure the interaction of people, technical systems and business rules. The use of Qualysoft’s complex methodology guarantees the cooperation of different processes from the process analysis to control the automatic processes.
In the last few years more and more European companies became interested in having resort to IT services as a nearshore project in the Eastern European region. This can be justified not only by its cost effectiveness but also the competency of the skilled IT professionals. Within the nearshore project the developing makes place in the same time zone, but in a different country, at a foreign affiliated company of Qualysoft. Its advantage next to the maximal flexibility is the cost-effective solution. The project managers and administrative tasks of the nearshore projects are extremely critical.
In the case of the development models the project methodology plays an important role, next to those strategical tools which explicitly support the planning, developing and testing processes of the nearshore projects. On demand it is possible to perform periodical checkings and to monitor the project on the customer’s site (on-site).
During the developing it is necessary to communicate clearly and effectively, that is why Qualysoft disposes of a multilingual team.
Among its services Qualysoft provides such internet based company portal (B2B, B2C, B2E) solutions, where the company employees as well as customers and partners can share the most important pieces of information. Within the different professional fields and industries the acquired experience and suggestions of Qualysoft help developing the company portals according to individual needs with the following services: portal analysis, user and operational plans, styleguide, portal implementation (IBM, BEA, Oracle, JBoss), implementation of Web Content Management systems, embedding of business applications and implementation of products, operating and servicing of products.
In Austria, Germany and Serbia Qualysoft operates a self-developed news portal solution called HEADLINES24 specified to the needs of the internet users in the different countries. At the HEADLINES24.at/. de/.cc news search engines users can find all the important news categorised by sources and topics. The news portal lists about 2000 articles a day in an easy and user-friendly way.
